Remote Access to Library Resources

The William A. Wise Law Library and the University of Colorado provide access to dozens of different electronic databases that can be useful for legal and nonlegal research by students, faculty, and staff.

For complete details, please see our Remote Access to Library Resources Guide.

To gain remote access (i.e., when you are not using the university’s wireless network or a university computer on campus) to many of those databases, you may need to log in to the CU VPN (Virtual Private Network) first.

Before you can log in to the VPN you will have to download a free piece of software called Cisco AnyConnect.  CU OIT has a page providing a link to download Cisco AnyConnect and instructions (under “Documentation”) on how to setup and access the CU VPN here.

Please let us know if you have any trouble setting up Cisco AnyConnect or accessing any of the law library or university databases.
